Empowering Young Minds: Imagination Library of Washington Partners with G.E.H.A to Enhance Literacy Opportunities for Military Families

Imagination Library of Washington is proud to announce an inspiring new partnership with G.E.H.A (Government Employees Health Association), one of the nation’s leading health and dental benefits providers for federal employees, military retirees, and their families, to bring the transformative power of books to children in military families and communities in Washington. Together, the organizations are focused on enhancing early literacy opportunities for children, fostering literacy, strengthening family bonds, and creating brighter futures for the next generation.

On November 13, 2024, a special ceremony at the U.S. Naval Undersea Museum in Keyport, WA, marked G.E.H.A’s generous $15,000 grant to the Imagination Library of Washington. This significant investment will allow the program to expand its reach to children from military families in key Washington communities: Naval Base Kitsap, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, and Naval Station Everett.
