Known for his soulful voice and island-inspired charm, the 20-year-old has captured hearts worldwide with his music and message of positivity. Raised in a musical family in Kahuku, Oahu, Iam’s journey began with his father’s encouragement, blending Hawaiian traditions with influences like reggae, country, and R&B.

After his father’s passing in 2021, Iam’s heartfelt audition of James Blunt’s “Monsters” became a viral moment of resilience and tribute, leading to his historic Idol win as the first Pacific Islander champion. Today, Iam continues to inspire with his uplifting songs, cultural roots, and a mission to spread hope and gratitude through his music.
