Improving early childhood literacy with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library creates opportunities for children to thrive so that they succeed in school and help their communities grow and prosper.

What is the role of an Imagination Library local program partner?

As Dolly says, local program partners are the true heroes of her Imagination Library. Program partners make the program accessible to all children from birth to age five in their local area. Local program partners:

  • Pay the wholesale cost of books and mailing for children in their selected coverage area ($2.60 per child/month)
  • Promote Dolly Parton's Imagination Library and build awareness
  • Register eligible children to participate
  • Manage their Book Order System
